While the Bible points out that money can be a snare for some people, wealth can be a good thing when it's used to help others and advance God's Kingdom.

One of the ways God is using the current worldwide financial challenge for good is that many are recognizing the benefits of having a simpler life and not becoming overly focused on earthly, material possessions.

As Hebrews 13:5 (NIV) says: "Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, 'Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.'"
